I’ve been saying this since last season: if Curry wishes to be considered among the NBA’s elite, he has to carry the team, especially when it’s struggling. He has to be the star of the show, the teammate that everyone counts on. He already has the uncanny ability to make his teammates better. Along with his deadly stroke from distance and his improvement as a distributor, Curry has transform into the floor general everyone sees him capable of becoming. He also has to be ready to be held accountable in team losses. If he is to be a superstar, he must rise to the occasion every night and be as consistent as possible.
The recent flashes that Curry has shown have evidenced Curry’s star power and possibly secured his first All-Star appearance this season. But is he an NBA superstar? That’s still debatable.
